The airwaves are owned by THE PEOPLE. There is no protection for one-sided corporations to come in and grab them and spew nothing but rightwing propaganda. The problem with the rightwing is they never read the Constitution or the laws before they make defensive claims. The fact is all radio stations broadcast at the pleasure of, and only with the poermission of, congress and the people. I know you think the government should censor the airwaves. Thankfully only a minority of Americans go in for such totalitarian positions. And don't tell me Limbaugh and Hannity dominate radio because they are so entertaining or they get great ratings. Those slots were PURCHASED for them and remain purchased. Murdoch sunk 500 million bucks into buying up slots for Hannity and O'Reilly before he made a dime in profit. Sorry but the facts are the folks you named do have great ratings. They make big bucks for themselves, their broadcasters and their sponsors.

Democrats can't compete in the area of ideas and communication, hence the failure of Air America. Your fellow Democrat dimwits refuse to listen to political discussions, that's why liberal radio shows always bite the dust. Their audiences are so minute that companies won't buy advertising. Liberal members of congress constantly threaten to squelch free speech as their only means to cope with the challenge of successful conservative talk shows with huge audiences. Then lily-livered Dem politicians shy away from appearances on FOX news, but unrealistically claim they're capable of controlling world-wide terrorism. Anyone who votes for a Democrat for Pres needs a brain transplant.
