Explain how promoting a cleaner earth, and advocating the use of renewable, eco friendly forms of energy destroy free capitalist societies...

When they are mandated by (some) governments and create inefficiencies in the market forcing businesses to leave for less restrictive countries. Although the idea America should lead is admirable, we should not cut our own throats to support China and India who will not follow in our self destruction.

I doubt you will find anyone against promoting renewable/clean energy, etc - as long as those are market driven based on sound business principles.

The goal of energy independence does not need the farce of global warming to be successful.

The current global warming snake oil crowd reminded me of the efforts to ban DDT. Millions have died because the DDT scam was successfully implemented.

Or the scam to eliminate freon. Thanks to Bill Clinton, we lost seven space shuttle astronauts and unknown zillions of dollars switching to R134.

Or the current scam that accompanies the global warming snake oil product lines, that if everyone buys carbon credits, no reductions of alleged harmful emissions are needed.

Or the idea that if cigarettes are SO harmful, then let's ban them completely.

Follow the money....
