Our local newspaper's top headline today was the mortgage foreclosure and housing market story. As if it were something new. What continues to amaze me is how very easy it was to see it all coming. Kind of like watching that guy driving a stolen SUV in Los Angeles a couple of days ago. You knew it had to end badly.
Yeah.
You know what amazes me? How LITTLE press and TV and radio coverage this got when it was building and something could still be done to at least limit it. What's even more amazing is that some of the ads of the nature of those that created this mess mess are STILL running - at least here. Apparently some lenders are still willing to give 125% HELOCs!
