Let me restate my position. I think global warming is real. It will have a significant impact on the changing climate, most of which will be painful. However, I do not believe we as humans can or should do anything to prevent it. It's equivalent to holding back the tide. We're better off adapting and moving forward with alternative energy research. Maybe we'll find a much better energy source that isn't carbon-based. Maybe that will come pretty far out in the future. Who knows? All I know is that CO2 isn't the "pollutant" it's being made out to be. By the way, I know I'm in the minority opinion, but so what? Maybe one of these days, more people will realize the futility of trying to clean up all of the CO2 emissions. Until then, I'm more than happy to be called a "fringe wacko" by guys like you, because that reveals more about you than it does about me. Tenchusatsu
