The war in Iraq has been won. Saddam and the regime we went to war to defeat have been long defeated. Unless you can identify a nation or an entity of some sort by name that we are at war with in Iraq, we won and that war is over.

Conflicts, our mission, and operations in Iraq evolved long ago to something else ... sorry you missed it, but there is no war going on that is to be won or lost by us.

In 1975 the War in Viet Nam was won.

Exactly as much as the Iraq war has been won.
