The Russian SU-30 does employ stealth technology, both paint (inferior to US skin coating) and an active magneto-plasma field surrounding the aircraft (similar to US plasma). Production of the American F-22 stealth fighter has been prematurely discontinued, and will likely soon become the export fighter to counter the SU-20. In spite of the VSTOL tricks, the F-22 is superior to the SU-20. For U.S. forces the F-22 will be replaced with a fighter which has both superior capabilities and a greatly reduced cost. In addition the F-35 will replace the U.S. fleet of F-16s. .
