A great deal of our debt is foreign owned. Do you see any problems in the future from this debt being dumped for gold, metals, tangible goods....

Isn't the CURRENT tax structure leading to a 1930’s type depression? I find it puzzling that any body's worried about what the next president will do (no matter who it is). The severe damage done over the last 7 years is what leads to the path you're talking about and the next in control are doomed no matter what policies they adopt. The only choices in November are recession or depression with more war or less war. The path is set and it won't be derailed IMO.
