Sorry, no blame pass for Benny. He served on Soylent Greenspan's FOMC for 3 or so years while the bubbles grew to the sky. Then he agreed to take the chairman's job, oblivious to what lay in store. He's as culpable as anyone and will go down in history with Greenspan as the modern-day equivalent of John Law.
