Thanks. I did a pre-design study for some off grid sites in Papaua New Guinea for Digicel when I stayed there. Maintenance visit only every six months. I specified variable load fixed frequency generators. A company from Singapore took the challenge. I left Digicel adn came to Benin republic. My boss put USd200K for off grid pilot site. With that money company can make two pilots. the sites consist of hybrid solar-wind and a small generator set. Here we use the coventional generators. 2 units running six hours in turn. Those are the ones I want to replace with the off grid hybrid system. Now they are preparing a study for me to sell the idea to the company. an apple vs apple comparison. I am gunning to put the two sites up begfore year end.
