Half of them support her no matter what she does. They will cheer her decision and help her in the general. She doesn't need the other half

One of the bloggers speculated that Obama would not be willing to be the VP on a Clinton ticket but might be willing to be the VP on a different ticket. This guy speculated that the super delegates (party leaders) approach Obama during a deadlocked convention and suggest that he free his delegates in exchange for the VP slot on a Gore-Obama ticket.

While that sounds far-fetched to me, I think his point was strange things could come out of a deadlocked convention.

Why would Obama want to be VP when he's (1) ahead on delegates and likely to keep the lead and (2) be VP with Bill C. in the White House again?
