Eighth anniversary today, of the advent of Dot-compost - en.wikipedia.org

The solidity of metals works against their highness - where an entirely new concept like dot.bombs could be run to infinity because enough people believed they were new and strong enough to be able to ignore traditional business principles, no one is going to do that with metals, which are instantly understandable - you dig them out and sell them, get x amount per ounce or per tonne .... there will be speculative excess at the top of course, as always, still it will be limited to peak per-unit valuations multiplied by optimistic resource calcs - still high, much much higher than here, but always with some degree of relation to the concrete, as opposed to dot.com abstract

Solidity works against their lowness too, there's the happy side of it ... most everything i hold got whacked today, and gold is off - by forty cents, lol
