We would certainly see something done on immigration, and probably some relative spending restraint. It won't destroy the republic if that's all we get, but some of us have other agendas we would like to see addressed, which wouldn't happen under a divided government scenario.

The Dems might get 3-4 Senate seats but they won't get 60, especially if their presidential candidate doesn't win and provide some coattails.

What Obama can and would do and what our enemies would think is all speculation at this point.

"If Obama is elected I suspect AQ and our aggressors will be ready to test his resolve much more so that McCain or Clinton."

This is a variation of the "if Obama wins the election your children will die" argument.
