"There is nothing more important than increasing educators' salaries, benefits and improving their working conditions," NSEA president Lynn Warne told the Las Vegas Review Journal.

I've always thought that educating children was more important.

The education system in Nevada must be doing a great job of teaching students. I mean, if they weren't doing a good job they certainly wouldn't have the grit to ask for more money when there's been little to no results from previous increased funds.

Oh look, Nevada is ranked 49th of 50 states but its about average in terms of money and teacher/student ratio.....:

Gee, this couldn't be because the unions have our educational systems balls in a vise could it?

Insanity, doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result.......
