Let's not forget the huge GOP pedophile scandal of 1989 which actually happened, but which the press then decided was too disgusting and disturbing to report on. The most amazing accusation involved was that GHW Bush himself was part of it. Could that be why GW wanted to prove so badly he wasn't a "wimp" like people called his father?
