Demand is higher today than at any time ever in the past - yet no one seems to want to step up and invest in making more. Apparently they can read a business plan and see it just doesn't pencil out.

Nuclear on the other hand is easy, safe and the transmission system is already in place.

Government should be approving permits and helping to acquire the required land - even if one of the plans is solar, they should help locate the land and secure the permits - putting a bunch of panels on everyones roofs is not yet economical.
