I guess you're correct from the perspective of many folks on the Right.

On the immigration thing, I'm not too sure either that McCain isn't a little too liberal for my taste. I'm glad to see that he's NOW talking about closing the border FIRST.

On the tax thing, I always thought that McCain was MORE conservative because he voted AGAINST Bush's tax cuts. I think running "deficits" is the MOST liberal thing you can do and Bush's tax cuts were unnecessary and a BIG contributor to the extra 3 TRILLION in debt we've piled up.

I don't think there are any real commies in the bunch, but I guess universal healthcare could be considered rather liberal, although many of the small business owners I know are taking more kindly to the idea after seeing their healthcare costs go through the roof.
