Not the government, the rich......since they all qualify.

It is the rich that are insulated from reality, and why not.

Is there anyone in Washington that is not a millionaire. I see even ole Ron Paul wants to coin a book and become even richer.

You see what Al Gore makes these days? And he wants to go IPO, if he does his stake is worth 48M in a company bleeding coin.

I keep asking when 'and the meek shall inherit the earth' as RUSH once sang a song.

Just this weekend I am reading an article on the front page of Yahoo about the cars of the billionaires, read IHT Tribune of late.....the rich do not seem too worried, article after article about what spot on the globe to buy a third of fourth home or how what art just sold for 40M. Why should they be, a few billion or million here and there, so what!
-and in that same paper, they pointed out 700M folks in India cook their food with animal dung and wood.

**so tonight if you cook with electric or gas, think yourself lucky!

What a world we live in, sad really. And you wonder why it is going to 'hell in a handbasket' DUH

Was looking at a statistic the other day, really like those.

About 100,000 high net worth individuals, about 7B 600M low worth.

Let us hope they have built very high walls and very strong gates.

If the masses ever wake up to the 'ponzi scheme'/'serf' that has been given them and decide to no longer 'eat cake' - as they did in France........god help us all.

Bankruptcy Fears In Bear Stearns Options
globaleconomicanalysis.blogspot.com
There was wild action in Bear Stearns options today as share prices hit a 5 year low following Moody's downgrades of Alt-A deals. Normally I would suggest the chart tells the story but in this case the rest of the story is quite interesting, and Minyanville was on top of it....
