Most of the larger companies have available cash and cash flow and if these stocks continue down for any period of time, the will be bought up.

I've been surprised the acquisitions haven't started yet. Many wouldn't even have to tap the credit markets to get a deal done.

normally ..in a bear..the cyclicals..energy,basic materials..go down first..but now since peak oil..a lot of people think energy is no longer a cyclical..
