Why should he resign for sleeping with pros? It should be a private matter for him and his family. It's not like he was toe-tapping in public toilets or abusing children. Toe tapping's a private matter as well - in the Spitzer case I believe the big deal is the transportation of a person across state lines for the purpose of prostitution - that's a big deal and begins to cross into the realm of sex slave trade.
