The Limbaugh effect

Power Line

It's my view that Republicans shouldn't interfere in Democratic primaries, just as Dems shouldn't interfere in ours. Rush Limbaugh doesn't see it that way, and he encouraged his listeners to vote for Hillary Clinton in Texas.

The effect seems to have been a happy one. Exit polls show that Obama ran ahead of Clinton among Republicans who voted in that primary, but the margin was smaller than normal -- 52 to 47 -- a swing of about 10,000 votes Tom Bevan estimates. Even in a close primary, this left it for Democrats and independents to determine the winner and the basic margin.

As John has suggested, Rush probably wasn't the only reason why Obama didn't do as well as usual with Republicans. The fact is that Obama didn't do as well as usual with most voters, either in Texas

Media bias example 999,888,777,666,555...

Note how Associated Pravda studiously avoids linking NEW YORK Gov. Eliot Spitzer to the Dem Party. No where in the article is Spitzer's name & Democrat mentioned in the same paragraph. In fact you must read to the 5th paragraph to learn that, "The New York Democrat's involvement in the ring was caught on a federal wiretap".

Duh! That's very common in the press for both parties. You guys need to get out more.
