A calm & steady approach makes the times when you have to put your foot down more effective. Its not all that different than raising a child. If you scream or yell every time kids make a mistake two things happen. First of all you raise a screamer (not good - doesn't work in real life). Second, yelling starts to lose its effectiveness (same as in real life). There's a correct time & place to raise your voice but use it wisely! We all have friends that pop off at the drop of a hat. Because they do it so often their opinion gets discounted and people lose respect for them. I SO BADLY want the Republicans to own the high ground. I think we're going down in November no matter what so I want to do it in style. Convey our POV and in 4 years (after OBama or Hillary fail) we can come back and say "I told you so."
