The markets were oversold, so a bit of positive credit news
will help. I don't see him pressing inappropriate buttons
just yet, which is why I think the slide has an end. I could
be too much of an optimist. -g- Inappropriate button would
be a drastic SOMA expansion.

The credit crisis folks promised me a dip in gold - I've been
waiting, and waiting to deploy more cash there. Well, got
a dip in gold stocks.

This is a chart of Toyota. Would not guess Japan was in secular
bear market from that one -g- 20 looks pretty cheap for GM,
a very long term support. I'd like to get it cheaper, but
maybe no luck. Teens would be 1974 bear market bottom.
If GM does not go belly up, that is. Hope it doesn't -g-
