One sensible thing the government in NZ has done is repeal the law making prostitution illegal.

Now, people can wire money across borders, talk on the phone and do what they like with who they like [not people who are too young though].

Victimless crimes are not really crimes. Solving crime could most easily be done by repealing reams of ridiculous laws. Legalize drugs, legalize prostitution, leave people to do what they like with their own property, generally mind their own business.

There are plenty of criminals without inventing more out of thin air.
