I'm almost glad Ron Paul isn't going to be the fall guy for this problem. Is there anything that can be done to get out of this mess that will not cause a lot of pain for a lot of people? I think whomever is in charge over the next four to eight years may go down as the first or second worst president in history. There seems to be no good way out. It seems all we can do is prepare (lots of silver eagles!). A lot of hurtin' coming for lot of people probably.

Ron- I hear what your saying, but if the choice is "great speeches" vs what we've had over the last 7 years (look at the current results!) I'll take a great speech and hope for the best. It's always the lesser of two evils.
