The close will tell a lot. We'd need to close near hod with conviction. A 250 pop isn't much if this was a reversal or beginning of a bear mkt rally. Seeing how easily we dropped to 11900 intraday and 12k creating stiff resistance, I'm going to guess we close below 11900 as doubts unfold.

I think so too. And what worries me about getting too much short is a financial led melt up, one which takes the entire SP500 along with it in some sort of program trading driven manic ramp.

DOW staying above 12k making me nervous. Fed more interested in illusion than reality. They know that if today's sleight of hand action doesn't stick, all bets are off.
