Days like today, I'm glad I'm almost fully hedged. I can watch comfortably from the sidelines with a beta of about -0.3, and root for the bulls to jam it as high as they can. This is the rally I planned on selling. Let's see if they can keep it together for a week or so. It is the textbook retest of the lows, but it seems like so many were waiting for it that it can't possibly reward them all. I guess you'd expect them to all pile onto the rally early, making for a rapid jump like this, but the big question is when they'll take profits. Are they in it for the next two days, the next two weeks, or the next two months? Odd to see the dollar hanging tough - not sure how long that can last. Man, some stuff sure is flying this afternoon... `BC
