If there was much traffic through there, you were sure to see several houses with a big window in front of what looks like a closet with a chair in it. Sitting in the chair is a woman in her lingerie... Now, I don't know for a fact that those houses were bordellos. But it seems to be a logical conclusion. Can you imagine that in the US? There would be vigilante parties and witch burnings almost everywhere. LOL.
