Amgen is headquartered in LA; Pelosi is from SFO. Any operation in Pelosi's district is very small and not worth extending her neck.

How do you know Amgens operation in SF is "very small"? You are also overlooking "her former senior policy advisor in charge of the company's government affairs, and her own financial investment".

Because I trade stocks. Amgen's biggest operation is in Thousand Oaks outside LA. AMGN has roughly 550 people in SF. That's not a big operation. They have more in Seattle.

Like most conservatives, your author is paranoid.

A person who is more afraid of the US President than our foreign enemies shouldn't use the word paranoid.

Ahhhh.....but its not the same kind of fear. With terrorists, I am afraid they will cause more damage and killing. With Bush, I am afraid he will mess something else up.

Google is your friend.

Amgen has over 14000 employees. 550 are in San Francisco.
