The wife can certainly be harmed by her husband murdering someone, but she isn't the victim of the crime. The concrete harm (other than the risk of STDs) is a much more severe example of the type of harm that is faced by those close to people who get charged with prostitution. As for the risk of STD's thats an aspect of adultery more than it is an aspect of prostitution. "I wanna hear about DUI first. Is this simply a case of gov't sticking its nose where it doesn't belong?" This whole discussion has been about the Spitzer case. Not just specifically about the Spitzer case, but all issues raised by it or related to it. Its about the case, about prostitution in general, about adultery in general, about victimless crime, and non-crimes with victims etc. "And Spitzer is our poster boy. You know it. I know it. Every thread on the site knows it."
