Median household income.

But households are smaller now.

Also

1 - I'm talking about longer run changes.

2 - Inflation adjustments are tricky.

3 - The decline your talking about is $33 a year. With declining average household size its probably an increase.

Edit - I've seen information adjusting the change in household income per person, but I can't find it now.

While searching for it I found this, about some of the longer term trends I'm talking about.
