Yeah, I kind of hinted at that in my first response to Mindmeld. I shudder thinking about how things would have been had AOL or MSN dominated the Information Superhighway.

It would make for an interesting story. Steve Case or Bill Gates in a De Lorean going back in time to kill off DARPA. How would things have been different today?
