The fed is not accepting MBS collateral at face value. I read yesterday that it is either .8 or .85. Didn't pay close attention to which it was because there was too much other info to digest.

Thoughtful post....I say we'll see. All of the other 'creative solutions' have solved basically nothing. I doubt this will be different. Some primary dealers need to go BK and the salvageable assets picked up by the scavenging survivors. Creative destruction applies to financial companies, too....
