DXY didn't move and the LT downtrend is ugly, I've been watching it for many years. We're going to have to live with it, only now it's making headlines. A Good thing, like you point out is that this helps US exports, mfg and maybe jobs etc down the road,,, after the credit bubble runs it's cycle.

A rally in the DXY would be great and give many people a chance to jump on board the asset classes that have worked in reaction to its decline. Those sectors trend really good...so I wouldn't expect much of a major move, UNLESS major things happen. I full expect in the coming weeks/months that the CB's put together a big party to try and do it. Dollar rallies for a few days, then the smart money goes back to work selling it.....bwdik
