You have to remember, the public is very stupid.

They are not stupid it is a problem of time. Upper end in many cases does not have it as they are too busy keeping up on rulings changes affecting their own profession.

Middle end is working to keep the bills paid so they have no time at all especially if they have little ones. They read listen to the news but this is more apt to be after fact not pre warn.

Lower end usually finds it very difficult to read enough to understand what is happening. They and the middle are more about the IRA deduction and putting dollars into a fund. They assume if they ever can retire the fund will have grown.
The set up for the entire all is you must risk and now it is starting to look like all risk.

I certainly do not blame people it is the experts re FED Banks etc who are suppose to do their job. Most people are spending hours trying to stay ahead of the pack in their fields they want to keep their income growing.

Then you have the FED who reminds me of the daily news which is after fact. Or why i believe currency should be hard backed.
