Ferrarro was a minor and unimportant Congresswoman (6 years in office, I believe) when she was picked from obscurity by Mondale and tapped to be his Vice Presidential candidate. *Do you think that would have ever happened* if she had not been a woman?** :-) (Kinda SILLY for Ferrarro to be tossing rocks about 'entitlement' when she comes from that kind of a glass house!) Better still... do you think that candidate Hillary Clinton would have been so successful (presumptive Democratic nominee for the Presidency most of this campaign cycle until fairly recently...), based only upon her supposed 'qualifications and abilities' as 'first spouse' and one term Senator and fairly tepid campaigner and uninspiring speaker... if she was black? This whole Ferrarro charge is a crock... I think the elderly lady (72 or so, I believe) is losing it.
