Oprah was in SC and on stage with michelle obama and barack. Though oprah is equally popular with white voters---see iowa---in SC the appeal was to race. It wasnt racist but it was calculated to get the black vote up for obama to counteract hillarys overall lead in the polls. Once done, hillary had to play catchup because when your opponent starts off with 90% of one group, especially in the south where as in SC blacks were 50% of the voters, you are in the hole. Did some in her campaign step over the line? I am sure some did. But so did some in obamas campaign as our own MM who attacked white working class voters as dumb. What if someone said most black voters are no better educated. There would be an uproar here and rightfully so but MM gets a pass and even an attaboy from tarrado. If MM is saying it, you can be sure some in the obama camp are in sync.
