IMO, there's a good chance all markets may dip lower before the rate cut decision.

Middle of March has usually been a seasonally strong period for gold, so the rate cut and the announced 200 billion dollar injection by the central banks may give gold an added boost.

When you look back on the weekly view, the HUI didn't touch its 40 dma for 8 months during the 2005/2006 run:
