It hit me way back there when certain black leaders were in the news discussing whether or not Obama was 'black enough'. I watched this and thought 'Yuk....go away guys....your time has passed and I don't want to hear this.'

I guess it extends further than I thought. I knew black conservatives got that sort of treatment, but I didn't know Obama would.

I agree with your feeling "yuk". Setting narrow constraints for people to follow because of their race, and then saying "they aren't really X", or "they are a traitor to their race", or "they are an Uncle Tom", because they have different ideas, is serious yuk.
