Your story sounds pretty familiar. Since I had to take on the housework years ago, I've had 3 different cleaning ladies come in. The best one only came once, saying it was too far from her home and she had no other clients nearby. The others just weren't good enough to last more than 2 or 3 times. So, unhappily, I do it myself, but I have to admit, not very well. I like your idea of having Service Master come in once or twice a year and do a thorough job of it. I finally broke down and have a service do my windows twice a year, so maybe that's something I'll do with the housework. Take care of the "easy" stuff in between.
