Most real life stories are a testament to how much gun ownership by decent law abiding citizens has served our society as a deterrent to violent crime. Unfortunately, that statistic never seems to get reported, or even taken under consideration by people like Shephard. He was so angry when a man posted his concern that decent law abiding people, who'd turned in their guns in Australia, are now becoming victims of criminals with guns, that he began shreeking about how that man and me, should be controlled. I'm still not sure what my connection with that man is or what controls he thinks are indicated.
