Would Ferraro admit that Hillary would not be in the position she is without being married to Bill?

Ok but I'll stick with my original assertion that it was an uncalled for low blow snipe.

Every viable candidate has a look that wears well with their platform, at least to a certain types of voters who could endorse them. Every candidate is lucky their look, combined with all the rest of their characteristics, is something voters are find acceptable. A brown Reagan-like with an accent probably wouldn't have gotten elected when Reagan did. Reagan had a look that went well with his political platform. Reagan was from California and there are hispanics from california who held the same political positions as Reagan. Lucky Reagan. He was only elected because he was who he was, part of that was how he looked and how he well he spoke in front of the public. But I hold none of that as a negative, or as a reason people who voted for him should be apologetic. It is a statement of the obvious.

McCain would not be in the position he is without being the son of an Admiral. We can make these arguments about a lot of people but they are irrelevant.
