I can see how you arrived at the conclusion that they will be manufacturing chips. However being a "chip company" is one thing, actually doing the manufacturing is another. That's a MAJOR undertaking that would require a monster investment and a substantial learning curve. I just don't see that happening. But I've been wrong before, just ask my wife.

Either that was a very poor choice of words on his part, or this company has completely changed course without informing us yet.

"a chip company" is a little frightening.

Here is how the company described itself in the last 10Q for comparison with what they say in the future:

"We are a developmental stage company that has developed and continues to develop high-activity, high-stability electro-optic polymers (plastics) that we believe could have a broad range of applications in the electro-optic device market. We engineer our proprietary electro-optic plastics at the molecular level for superior performance, stability, cost-efficiency and ease of processability. We expect our electro-optic plastics to broadly replace more expensive, lower-performance materials that are currently used in fiber-optic ground, wireless and satellite communication networks."
