You don't have to wonder why kids can get a warped sense of right and wrong and take actions against the enemy (USA). How many are fed rhetoric like that and end up with no respect for the law? I can find plenty to criticise and I don't mind admitting we have aspects of our history that should be viewed with regret. I, however, think inflamatory rhetoric especially the likes of 'Goddamn America' is condemnable and encourages self-loathing. When you preach to people that their culture is unworthy, you cause resentment to foment and the results are maladaptive and destructive conduct.
