Shepard should be proud of the fact he lives in a country that trusts it's citizenry enough to allow them to be armed. I do believe gun owners should pass a test on their ability to own and operate a gun just like a car owner is expected to and that includes carrying insurance.

I answered this post, but it looks like I didn't complete the posting. So let me try again...... You really are a dick....no where did it say that the guy forced her off the road and got out of his car. If I said this, you would be howling "liar".....but that's your style, not mine. The woman, as I read it, turned her overhead light on and showed her pistol. That was enough to get the guy to hit his brakes and let her go on his way.... Now, if she shot him or at him and wounded him, she would have had serious explaining to do..... Suppose the guy was just passing her and she thought he was trying to force her off the road..... There would be no proof of that.... You have cavalierly judged the guy a liar (your favorite word) with no evidence.... If she killed him, she really would have been in the box.....no witnesses and no obvious evidence he was doing anything but driving...perhaps passing her. How could she justify the killing? I'm assuming this was not a Jim Crow situation where the guy was black and her word might not have been challenged.... "My guess is the cops would have to consider all those things." What things did they have to consider other than what she reported ? Not the scenario you faked... And it appears she did not even report the incident to the cops....but maybe she didn't because she realized she would have had some tough questions to answer.... It's amazing how you seem to know exactly what went on there......and you claim to have such terrific logic??????
