If she had called police, she probably would have been able to give some information and the guy back at the store might have able to help also.... imo, that would have been the prudent thing to do.....who knows, he might have tried the same thing the next night on someone else.

If she had to shoot him, there surely would have been an investigation......CSI would have figured it out....

If you make sure the assailant is dead in that situation....there are no witnesses to contradict the shooter's story....<g>

Seriously, you should never draw a weapon and point it at someone unless you are fully prepared to pull the trigger....
