KLP

Stated well.

Do you have any thoughts on where to post to be effective in this dialogue regarding what Ferrarro said other than SI?

The mainstream media is really doing a number on this-----they need to hear from women from all political persuasions.

I heard Ferrarro too, when she first made the statement. There was nothing racist about it. She was just stating facts.

Well, you can argue with it. I heard Juan Williams, who is a reasonable person, say sarcastically that being black is such a big help to presdiential candidates since there have been so many black presidents.

There is nonetheless a counter-argument that the hothouse atmosphere of Dem primaries functions rather differently.

It was "racist" only inasmuch as PC requires denial of many obvious facts. That Obama has been trading on his race by offering trancendance over racism to his supporters is rather obvious, but you're not allowed to say it. Unless you're a republican. Cf. Shelby Steele.
