No actually we shot our trash out the TDU or trash disposal unit. Of course this was basically a torpedo tube that went straight down out the bottom of the boat. Make this aerated tin can and throw 2 steel weights in the bottom and then compact trash until full then seal and the next time at periscope depth shoot them out. Yes we were polluters:)
