quote.yahoo.com

20 Billion is all US main (ONLY) retail physical gold fund is worth.
Annual World Wide investor demand for gold is around 18
billion. Market cap just for GOOG is 137 Billion. Not saying
gold can't drop, but you ain't seeing a bubble yet, FAR
FROM IT -g-

P.S. Interest rates differential for Euro/USD pair is set
to double this week on 100 bp. coming cut. USD becomes new Yen
and takes out Swissie for the second place as a carry trade
funding currency. That, plus 700 billion a year current
account deficit makes the buckie REALLY desired now.

The Fed did a stupid thing - dropping the rates (dropping
the BUCK) plus DRAINING 25 billion in the last 2 weeks.
Multiply that by 10 or 30 to get the full liquidity effect.
TAF will not be operational until the end of March. Could
be a very nasty volatile week for derivative markets.
