I dont think they can use the nuclear optiom as it will guarantee mutual destruction cause of their peg to the Dollar....It could be more like carpet bombing......

I really dont see the decoupling that everyone talks about. We got the FLU and everyone will catch a COLD.......IMHO

Too much of a problem for chinese if dump dollar, as massive deflation of real chinese assets would result freshly made chinese pitchforks pointed at chinese govt.

More likely short term outcome is allow currency to appreciate faster, while buying US assets with declining US paper.

Japan outcome, with unintended consequences.
