and it's just emotion I would say rather that its the release of information is the negative thing itself. Its not really emotion vs. reason. A reason would amount "X is bad because of Y", but then you can have the same discussion about Y. I think the point is that Peter and many other people see the privacy issue as a problem itself. He may also have additional reasons. But any reason, even if it has another reason, has to have some root problem that doesn't need another reason to be a problem.
